AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
The focus for the Production Coordinator is to understand and work with our products (Shoes, Clothing, Objects) from order to delivery to warehouse or external partners. It is under theProduction Coordinator's responsibility that products are being ordered and delivered according to the set goals. Moreover, theProduction Coordinator will work closely with the Drop of the Week (DoW) schedule to create a variety and solid sales plan. The last needs to be discussed and coordinated with design and marketing to ensure all interests.
TheProduction CoordinatorC will be the main contact between production, wholesale, marketing and finance coordinating that each department will get the information which is necessary at any given time.
TheProduction Coordinator will have external contact with factories and supplier, and possible other partners such as marketing, wholesales, etc..
JOB ASSIGNEMENT
Products:
• Ensure that all products contain necessary production specifications and that all sources share the same information.
• Be responsible for samples orders, both production and for shooting. Which have been ordered, delivered or sent to different partners. Also control that we do receive same as ordered and validate invoices.
• Getting feedback from customers, CR and retail and communicate potential problems to Product Developer, Quality Team or direct to factories.
Order Management:
• Assemble buying orders for each selling season and coordinate production planning.
• Plan production lead time with and inform stakeholders about delivery schedule.
• Managing re-order process and internal stock.
• Liaising with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
• Provide regular shipping updates by market and highlight any issues arising from our shipping performance.
Production:
• Work closely with merchandiser to understand product needs, re-orders and delivery of earlier placed orders.
• Work alongside product developers to understand current and future needs of product developments, changes in materials, quality, production type etc.
• Plan production with the rest of team to secure materials and packaging are available on time.
Financial:
• Follow up on deliveries and update necessary systems for a smooth invoice process.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in relevant subject matter.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in production management / sourcing
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous.
• Product management skills and comfort handling pressured deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience of MS NAV
• Analytical skills
• Willingness to travel
