www.takarabio.comWe are looking for an enthusiastic, organized and driven person enjoying working in a product- and service-oriented environment. You are expected to act as project leader for Customer Service projects including planning, hands-on-work as well as cost estimations, budget preparations and reporting. In addition, you will have a supportive role to the marketing team providing customer facing product information and training sessions.
Initially the role will be mainly laboratory-based and you will be trained in processes like manufacturing and quality control of stem cell based products and services to gain knowledge required for actual tasks.
Required experience:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in cell biology, biomedicine, biotechnology or relevant discipline.
General cell biology procedures and techniques.
Strong communication abilities in English
Desirable experience:
Experience with stem cells (hiPS/hESC); derivation, culturing, differentiation.
Experience with general molecular biology techniques such as Genome Editing, CRISPR/CAS9, PCR, RT-PCR, Immunochemistry, NGS etc.
At least few years of experience with Project Management
Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
Customer service orientation
Ability to think strategically and to lead
Good at math and advanced skills in MS Excel.
General tasks and responsibilities:
Project management of Stem Cell Customer Service
Run Customer Service projects in an efficient and profitable manner
Production and Quality Control of stem cell related products and services Accurate documentation and data compilation
Maintenance and development of Product- and Customer Service-related procedures and standards
Perform assigned tasks requiring the application of standard procedures and techniques
Comply with quality standards, such as ISO9001
Estimate costs and prepare budgets for Products and Customer Services
Generation and planning of customer facing information and training
Implementation of new products and services
Reports to Production and Service Manager
Works in close collaboration with Supply Chain Management, QA and Product Manager
Additional duties as assigned
Position : Production and Service Associate, full time position. Travel days may be required.
