Customer Support within the Thor Modems Solutions (TMS) Business Unit is looking for engineers in the areas of embedded Linux, RIL and IPC. The TMS Customer Support unit is responsible to support, productify and deliver Thor Modem platforms to ST-Ericsson's customers.
Your role in TMS Customer Support will be to work with pre-integration between ST-Ericsson's Thor Modem reference design and ST-Ericsson's external AP partners. You will also support ST-Ericsson's customers to review, bring-up and troubleshoot on stability, power & throughput optimization on their proprietary solution. The customer support activities are done both from Sweden but also on the customer site (US, Asia, etc.), when needed.
We are looking for people with the following competences:
• Android Radio Interface Layer (RIL).
• Embedded Linux Kernel (user space).
• Experienced in ST-Ericsson's proprietary Low Level Software layers.
• Senior troubleshooters with previous experience in Tiger/MiB teams.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing.
• High ability to work independently, take initiative and drive own work.
