Our clients expertise in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technology spans over six decades. This technology is at the forefront of transmitting power over vast distances and seamlessly integrating renewable energy sources into the grid, all while minimizing energy losses. They work closely with design teams and foster collaboration with engineering and research teams both in Sweden and internationally.
Your Role
As a key member of their team, you'll have a crucial role in:
• Participating in the design of HVDC converter valves for order projects.
• Utilizing NX/Team Center for design work.
• Working on technically demanding projects that span various technological domains, such as heat transfer, electrical insulation, strength, and materials technology.
• Ensuring timely and cost-effective project deliveries while maintaining top-notch quality.
• Embracing their client's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and looking out for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background
To excel in this role, we believe that you have:
• A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of three years of experience in Mechanical Design as well as experience of working as a designer in manufacturing or the electrical power industry
• Proficiency in 3D-CAD, preferably NX
• Strong computer skills, preferably with good knowledge in Team Center and SAP.
• You are a driven person who is not afraid to take initiatives.
• Exceptional teamwork, strong self-learning and collaborative capabilities
• A responsible mindset, with a deep understanding of complex systems
• Knowledge and experience with high voltage products are meriting
• Previous experience in a development environment is qualifying
• Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken, Swedish is a big plus
OTHER
Location: Ludvika
Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months before you have the opportunity to transition to employment with our client.
