hela Sverige Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Product Test Manager, to join our expanding Group IT Organization. The role reports to the Release & Test Manager and is based in Malmö.
The Release & Test team is part of Verisure IT Innovation. They are responsible for all software testing regarding software deliveries for our Alarm Systems and other related systems. This includes for example supporting unit tests, preparing and executing tests in sprints, system integration tests, supporting non-functional tests and supporting user acceptance tests. Release coordination is also part of their responsibility. The teams work in an agile way and are moving towards a DevOps way of working. The team members are focused towards business but are joined in a Release and Test enablement team.
As our new Product Test Manager, you will be leading our Product Test Team, currently consisting of 16 testers. Your team is responsible for all testing concerning our consumer-focused products and services, for example our Web shop, MyMobile and MyPages. The team mostly works in an agile way, and leverages industry standards. In terms of tools the team uses Confluence, Jira, and is beginning to work with an inhouse made Python based test automation framework (working with Selenium, SQL, REST, etc.).
We want to further evolve our agile maturity and move towards a DevOps way of working, something you will be part of and contribute actively to. The level of test automation will increase, and new ways of working will be established together. This means that you are going to be responsible for managing both cultural and process changes in the team. Finding the best possible ways to align personal ambitions with company objectives is also an important part of your job, together with creating an environment that enables an optimized team performance. The teams are important and are driving change, but you facilitate and guide the change.
In this role you are part of the weekly Release & Test Management meeting which has an operational character, strategic meetings for continuous improvement, higher level update meetings as well as your own team meetings. Daily tasks are for example 1 on 1 meetings with your employees, to work with engagement in the team, to support and facilitate improvement activities, to support the team's way of working according to the Verisure test Policy and more. It is a role where you can leverage and grow many of your skills.
We are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment. You have 5+ years' experience of Test Management, hence experience in testing on a high level, and in managing a team. Ideally you have experience in working in an agile and/or DevOps environment. You are a people person who is driven by motivating individuals around you as well as creating an encouraging atmosphere on a team level. Your background includes working in an international and multi-cultural company where English is the business language. To us, it is important that you bring high energy and flexibility, strong communication skills and huge amounts of drive. Collaborative working is key!
