We currently have a Vacancy within the Global Product Support Services team, for a highly motivated, resourceful engineer, based in our Malmö, Sweden office, reporting to the manager of Product Support Services - Malmö.
We are looking for a creative and talented engineer who is challenged by complex technology, driven by learning new things and strives to keep a high technical level? Thrives by helping others, including co-workers, to resolve complex technical issues and wants to be part of a closely knit team in an inspiring atmosphere
Working at Product Support Services also provides many different growth opportunities.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC, Access or Security applications is preferable. Knowledge of Schneider Electric's Buildings Business products would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide in-depth technical support to internal and, in some cases, external customers in a timely manner
Investigating reported software and hardware faults and documenting the findings
Conduct on site investigation for product issues
Logging all support activity into the CRM system
Assisting with testing of existing and future products
Assisting other team members in day-to-day technical or administrative issues, as required.
Assisting with training of other support engineers
Maintaining personal appearance so as to present a neat, tidy and professional appearance, both in and out of the office
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Good English communication skills, verbally and written
Strong knowledge of computers in a Windows environment
Structured trouble shooting skills for complex issues
Capability of working with people who have varying technical and product knowledge
Organized, Multi tasking individual
Prioritize tasks efficiently
Quickly learn new products and technologies
