Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering, sales support and professional services. This includes product, service and roadmap management for device capabilities, device management, software, analytics and end-to-end solutions. In addition, we offer the regions project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. End-to-End Solutions is one out of five groups within Solution Management.

HOW IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
Our vision is to contribute to a smarter and safer world by providing market leading end-to-end (E2E) surveillance solutions. Our E2E solutions are built around our own video management solutions, AXIS Camera Station and AXIS Companion, but the functionality extends beyond that.

The End-to-End Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis End-to-End Solutions for Surveillance. The team consists of product managers, product specialists and other roles that together manage the entire life cycle of our solutions - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go to market and maintenance.

The team has expanded a lot during recent years, and we will therefor divide it in two teams. One team with focus on the product specialist role and one team with focus on product management role. We are now looking for an engaged manager that loves to develop and lead people. The new manager will lead the product specialist team and collaborate with and report to the Director for End-to-End Solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The product specialists in End-to-End Solutions work closely with product managers and the R&D teams in Lund and Linköping. They also work closely with support and sales engineers all over the world as well as interacts with end customers, channel partners and suppliers. The product specialist work can be divided into four general areas:

* Solve customer cases: Solve and prioritize support cases and/or pre-sales issues of a high complexity, either on your own, or in close cooperation with Axis engineers.
* Drive competence: Create training materials, run product training sessions and write technical notes, FAQs and white papers. Focus is on training your peers in the regions and build material to propagate knowledge to our partners and customers.
* Take part in the development of new products/functionality, as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements. This includes involvement in internal projects, product documentation and meetings with external partners and suppliers.
* Product Maintenance: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that issues are fixed quickly and that problems are contained so that as few customers as possible are affected. This is one important driver to continuously increase our product quality.

As manager for this team, you will lead 10 competent, self-motivated product specialists. It is a diverse team in gender, age and background. Your role is to make sure the team has the prerequisites to make a good job. This can for example be to make sure that the roles in the team are well defined, necessary tools are available, competence is developed, work environment is good, new team members are recruited etc. Appraisal talks and setting salaries are important parts in your work. You drive, supported by the Director for End-to-End Solutions, to secure that we have a good service level towards regions, R&D and product managers.

We travel to strengthen relations but focus on digital media to become efficient. Travelling up to 20 days a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you have a genuine interest and talent in leading people and organizations at the same time as you are ready to dig in and help the team out when needed. You have a customer focus AND understand your team's situation and needs. No, the customer is not always right but we will always assist them professionally to overcome their issues. You find it easy to interact with people and between individuals and organizations and can negotiate if needed. You combine the skill of listening with the skill of deciding and can find a good balance between the two.

You fulfill the following criteria:

* A technical university degree including software development as one component.
* A few years of leadership experience, preferably as a manager in a technology centric organization or in a customer support organization.
* To network and collaborate with other teams are a natural way of working for you.
* Fluent in Swedish and English.
* A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters.
* Last but most important, you have a proven successful track record in working with, leading and developing people. You have a genuine interest in your team and its members and are known for that. As person you are seen as positive and emphatic, combined with the ability negotiate and decide when needed.
