Product Specialist – PureBallast AlfaWall
PureBallast, developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, was origininally launched in 2006. Since then around 500 systems have been sold and around 150 commisioned. We are now increasing our focus on supporting system operation.
Responsibilities
As a Product Specialist you will be responsible for supporting our sales and service organization with product and installation solutions for our Ballast Water Treatment application, PureBallast. The work includes contacts to customers, sales and service staff on a regular basis. You will be part of our Product Management group with the objective of improving our offering to our customers.
The main work tasks
• Specialized product & application support for our sales- and service organization
• Support in customer dialogues for installation onboard ships
• Technical support in field test, commissioning and faultfinding
• Act as trainer in internal and external training of PureBallast
Qualifications
You have education in marine engineering and have marine experience. For this role you have at least five years experience in the field of marine engineering and/or five years of onboard experience.The business environment is highly international so you have high skills in English both in speech and in writing. As a person you have an outgoing personality with high skills in communication and the ability to work on your own initiative.
You will join a team of skilled and highly motivated colleagues and work in a challenging, fast moving and developing business. The position is based in Tumba, Sweden, but frequent travelling is required, 50 days / year.
