The product specialist has a key role in the design and development process of SpectraCure's medical device. Part of the work is also to operate the device and assist during clinical trials.
Profile: at least a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Training in and/or work experience in at least a few of the following areas: photonics (lasers, spectroscopy, fibre optics), embedded systems, medical devices, algorithm development, electronics, mechanics. Experience in quality management systems, risk management and related documentation is optional but desirable.
Tasks and responsibilites
• Development of hardware and/or software for SpectraCure AB
• Suggest technical improvements, new methods and products
• Act as project manager when appointed
• Assist during clinical trials
• Be part of planning, performing and reporting research studies
• Identify customer needs and technical requirements and suggest improvements to products, components and/or software
• Analyze and develop test methods according to standards or own specifications
• Ordering of material and services on request
• Acceptance testing of incoming materials
• Maintenance of equipment
• Write documentation according to SpectraCure routines
• Review and approve documentation within area of responsibility
• Initiate improvements and changes to SpectraCure routines
• Participate in training according to individual training plan
• Follow procedures established in the SpectraCure Quality Management System as well as laws and regulations
