Essential Responsibilities:
The Cyclotron and TRACERcenter modality service, based in Uppsala, is the leading provider of GE cyclotrons services in the world. In this unique position, you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise and to experience the full range of field service and customer interaction. You will interface with engineering, production, life cycle engineering, local and regional service, TCMs at GE Healthcare and customers. In the role as Product Specialist Cyclotron and TRACERcenter you will be a member of the global service force, providing daily support to GE Healthcare field engineers and customers.
Approximately 10 to 20 % of your time will be spent on supporting the customers and field service engineers remotely from the office. The remaining time will mainly include On-site service such as equipment installation, GE-initiated field modifications (FMI's), Preventative Maintenance (PM's), emergency corrective actions when needed and providing service trainings to customers and field staff.
This role provides you with the full life-cycle service experience, as well as opportunities to gain perspective from local GE peers and customers.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems
• On site installations and service work
• Provide service training's
• Provide OLC support to local service and customers and represent global service in CSO calls
• Act as a link between service and other departments at GEPS, share knowledge and drive for fix and improvements
• Support the Operations team to define the scope of the service works
• Regular review of key performance indicators, identification of required remedial actions. Follow-up on commitments to ensure their completion
• Drive installed base quality and service engineering projects that will improve customer satisfaction and reduce I&W / service costs
• Drive continuous improvement activities in all areas of product life cycle
• Work independently and possess a high level of functional expertise to service the RP and TRACERcenter products
• Use domain expertise, customer input and data analytics to set and drive the priorities that will ensure a focus on increasing the quality and the reliability of the Radio pharmacy and TRACERcenter product line
• The right candidate will bring expertise, positive energy, and a commitment to improving our customer experience and our service processes every day
• Willing to travel 60-70 % and sometimes with short notice
• Flexible work hours required: includes overnight, on-line center support shifts and weekend service at customer sites if scheduled
• Good understanding of installed base and service engineering methods associated with Radio pharmacy and TRACERcenter products
• Significant experience of servicing GE cyclotrons
• Radio chemistry experience
• Team player, cooperative, interested in further development
• High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, ability to work with teams and customers
Desired Characteristics:
• Fluent in English
• Formal educations in physics alt. electrical engineering
• Project management experience
• Fluent in other languages preferably Chinese
• Radiation trained, radio chemistry experience
• Excellent computer skills
• EU work permit
