We are now looking for a Product Specialist to join our Software Solutions team within the Solution Management department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Product Specialist for Axis end-to-end solutions targeting medium business you will work in a team with product specialists, solution knowledge specialist and product managers. Together you are managing our existing solutions and provide valuable input to the definition of new ones. Most of the products and functionality you will be working with are developed in our own R&D projects, where you will be expected to provide expert input on customer needs, as well as represent product management. You will also be responsible for handling the complex support cases escalated from our local support teams worldwide. Your work can be divided into four general areas:

Drive competence: Create training materials, run product training sessions and write technical notes, FAQs and white papers.
Solve customer cases: Solve and prioritize support cases of a high complexity, either on your own, or in close cooperation with Axis engineers or external suppliers.
Take part in the development of new products/functionality, as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements. This includes involvement in internal projects, product documentation and meetings with external partners and suppliers.
Maintain and develop product functionality: Identify new requirements and areas which cause problems, plan for new functionality, maintain existing product functionality, assist in pre-sales issues, etc.
The role involves limited travelling, up to 15 days per year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and structured individual with experience and talent in problem solving. We believe you have a service minded attitude and that you are practical when it comes to technical matters, as you will need to do hands-on product testing and product evaluation. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with IP video technology and/or Axis video products.

You have social skills and an ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. You enjoy a high-pace and to have multiple activities ongoing in parallel. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment. Furthermore we believe you have:

At least 5 years work experience.
A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters.
A deep understanding of technical matters and preferably experience of test procedures, trouble-shooting and product evaluation.
Experience with IP networks and Windows operating systems is essential.
Experience of IT administration is an advantage.
Software development experience is a clear advantage since this if useful when trouble-shooting complex product issues as well as supporting partners using our API.
Interest in or experience from cloud services is an advantage.
Interest in and experience of documentation, including creating educational videos, reviewing manuals and guides, internal support documentation etc.
Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage.
THE SOLUTION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering, sales support and professional services. This includes product, service and roadmap management for device capabilities, device management, software, AI and End-to-End solutions. In addition we offer the regions project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. Software Solutions is one out of four groups within Solution Management.
