We are now looking for an experienced Siemens PLM Product Specialist to join the Nordic Consulting Community professional Services team, providing expert support to our customers on the Teamcenter product portfolio.
Objective
As a Product Specialist for Siemens PLM Software you will act as a services consulting team member, individual project task consultant but also as subject matter expert and team leader. You will be working in the entire Nordic region, therefore the role requires some travel (up to 40%). The position will be located in Sweden.
Your Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop complex PLM systems, either independently or together with a project team
• Ensure solution design with special consideration of the surrounding ALM, PLM, CAx, ERP and production environments
• You are designing the solutions with the Siemens PLM product range, in particular Teamcenter PLM, in order to optimize the economic performance of these architectures
• As a technical expert you are constantly working on the documentation and development of best practices and the further expansion of our knowledge base
• Within your projects you support your Sales and Presales colleagues in the development of new sales opportunities
• Provide technical and process expertise and consultancy, for projects throughout the project lifecycle (including design, implementation, troubleshooting, configuration, enhancements, integration, testing, deployment and basic project management support)
• Interact with the customer to establish a robust and efficient technical solution.
• Contribute to the definition of technical, industry and process best practices and leverage, together with personal experience, to help improve productivity and efficiency and leverage Siemens PLM Software technologies.
• Work on complex assignments that require specialist expertise or different levels of technical leadership.
• Undertake some technical team lead activities and support project management activities on smaller projects.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to others in country on customer consultation, technical design and implementation of the SISW's products and solutions.
Your Profile:
• Successfully completed technical studies in computer science, mechatronics, general mechanical engineering, electrical engineering (bachelor's / master's degree) or equivalent degree with appropriate professional experience
• Experience in consulting and conceptual design for the product development process
• Very good understanding of business processes in the PLM area
• Expert knowledge of Siemens Product Lifecycle Management products
• 5+ years of experience in consultancy and training in international teams with collaboration across different geographical areas and company cultures.
• 5+ years of experience within development, implementation, testing, deployment and support in Siemens PLM projects within more than two industry domains.
• 5+ years of experience of product consulting and technical consulting on Siemens Product Lifecycle Management products
• Strong problem solving ability and an analytical mindset.
• Knowledge and interest in the following topics / areas :
o Teamcenter, BMIDE codeless and codeful extensions, ITK Customization, Client customizations, PLMXML
o CAD and CAD integrations to Teamcenter
o Siemens MES/MOM product portfolio knowledge is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills together with strong presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team work skills
• A customer-focused mind-set
• A keen interest in learning new technologies in varied industries
• Language: Excellent knowledge of English and Swedish
