We need to reinforce our Petrol Chainsaw team with a temporary Product Specialist for about one year.
The Petrol Chainsaw Team is part of the Handheld Category, managing and developing our chainsaws, trimmers, blower and hedgetrimmer business. The team is globally responsible for the product portfolio of petrol driven chainsaws for consumers and professionals.
We are looking for someone who is structured, with previous experience from project management and an aptitude for strategic, analytical work. Also, being visionary and stimulated by a changing environment, you are prepared to take responsibility, initiative and look for a challenge to grow in.
Working within a market and customer oriented product category with a profitable growing business globally. The work means that you are product and customer focused and will be responsible for both new and existing products. You will be responsible for products throughout their lifecycle. This means that you are ultimately responsible from concept, specifications and market positioning to the profitability and product maintenance. You will report directly to the Global Product Manager - Petrol Chainsaws located in Sweden.
You are university or college educated with experience in project and/or product management preferably in a professional environment. Any experience of servicing dealers, retail, sales or product experience in the forestry area, construction or agricultural industry is an advantage.
You will work in independently in a global organization with major development opportunities. Good English skills both written and oral proficiency is a requirement.
The work will involve some travel and stay in the field. Location Huskvarna.
