To Seco Tools and our Digital Product Services department, we're now looking for a Product Specialist to care for our external channels. As a team we're running the digital services related to Seco's product portfolio by delivering a compelling story to the market. Together we're passionate about guiding to purchase and supporting customers on the use of our tools. All in all, our team makes sure all individual digital services offer a distinct functionality and value propositions, and provide a consistent interface, look-and-feel and user experience.

What about the job?
In this position, you work closely with our sales teams, IT, product managers and customers to enhance, maintain and build improvements for our product data solutions. You also support in the data-distribution according requirements of end-users. In line with our overall strategy and according to business needs, you describe and prioritize improvements, changes and bug fixes. Being responsible for the backlog of external channels, you explore mainly product data needs and translate customer requirements to existing solutions or develop new ones. To ensure our continuous success, you either drive or support within projects where you capture improvements and requirements from both existing and new partners. You also coordinate the external product data board, enabling a company-wide overall view on issues and improvements.
Your responsibilities include:
Defining clear business requirements received from both internal and external end-users
Defining external channel partners for related services
Supporting various projects within a global setting
Driving product data distribution implementation in an aligned format
Setting up and develop processes to collect requirements and make sure that the implementation of those is done effectively and efficiently.

The location for this position is preferably at our headquarters in Fagersta (Sweden), however, for the right candidate it can be flexible worldwide with presence at one of our offices in either Erkrath (Germany), Pune (India), Alcester (England) or Troy (US). We promote working from home according to country-laws depending on where you're located.
Who you are
We're looking for someone with a university degree within for example Engineering, Commercial Economics or Digital Marketing, combined with a technical curiosity about our products and its complimentary data. We believe that you understand how different systems talk to each other as well as how to work with product data. Basic knowledge within the machining industry and a variety of digital technologies - including integration, AI and machine learning - is a plus. Proficiency in English is a must as you work in a truly global setting, while knowledge of other languages is desirable.

You have strong social skills and the ability to effectively connect with a wide range of people. Proactive and positive with a holistic perspective are other words that describe you, and you have a natural drive to complete tasks in a timely manner.
