What you'll do
Cytiva is committed to protecting our products and the data they contain against malicious threats to confidentiality, availability, and integrity. This is essential to providing high quality products to our customers.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the Product Cybersecurity function within Cytiva:
Developing an understanding of the overall product portfolio, the products' unique operating environments and risk factors and providing appropriate guidance to product teams
Evangelizing product security and a risk management mindset across Business Units in Cytiva
Ensuring that cybersecurity is embedded throughout the product lifecycle - design, development, deployment and post-sale support
Coordinating between business functions (R&D, Service, QA, RA, Legal, Product management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Marketing) to ensure product Cybersecurity compliance
Developing appropriate policies and procedures for cybersecurity governance and management including those driven by regulatory requirements
Helping the organization to make risk-based decisions on product cybersecurity
Developing an incident response strategy as well as mechanisms to respond to emerging cybersecurity threats
Developing meaningful metrics to communicate with senior management and stakeholders on overall cybersecurity posture.
Co-ordinating with the Danaher-wide product security strategy and representing Cytiva at the Danaher product security council
Developing an effective organizational model and structure for the Cybersecurity team to support product teams
Leading and mentoring the Cybersecurity team
Collaborating with third party institutions or vendors for forensic investigations, independent penetration tests, certifications, etc.
Leading the planning and execution of the exit of the Transfer Service Agreement with GE
Staying current on emerging security trends, customer expectations and the competition as it relates to product security
Leading interactions with prospects and customers as needed to discuss product security
Who you are
At least 10 years' experience in software product development for industrial applications, preferably in the Life Sciences industry
Possess formal training and prior experience in Product Cybersecurity, especially from process and governance perspectives
Experienced with GxP environments
Having progressed from roles of Product Cybersecurity Engineer/Analyst/Leader is a plus as will be prior Cybersecurity experience with DCS/SCADA/Embedded/Digital products
Broad understanding of a variety of software technologies and platforms, including cloud-hosted environments
Proven leader with strong drive, a strategic and analytical mindset, and program/project execution skills
Passion for Cybersecurity, evinced by breadth and depth of knowledge in the area
Ability to function in a matrixed organization
Ability to travel (up to 50%) and ability to work with a global and diverse team
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with all levels in the organization
Financial acumen
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Product management experience is a plus
Knowledge of Cytiva's product portfolio and processes is a plus
