We are currently looking for you who are ready to take on this exciting role as Product Security Governance Officer, working with Quality Management in our team within our Quality & Logistics department.

In this important role, you will make sure that Polestar projects are qualitatively aligned with our sustainability-thinking and our goals.
This position is located at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
As a Product Security Governance Officer, your role will be primarily to secure governance activities within our Product Cyber Security Organization. Ensuring of the entire processes, procedures, and guidelines of identifying, containing, analyzing, and recovering governance activities, during the lifetime of Polestar products globally. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
• Host and coordinate meetings with both internal and external teams by using strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Maintain processes and be responsible to provide high expertise on Cyber Security Management System - development and operations.
• Identify interfaces/overlapping parts between CSMS and other management systems (e.g. SUMS, ICSMS, ISMS, QMS...)
• Assist Product CISO for securing CSMS governance within projects.
• Ensure alignment between vehicle security activities and ISMS, provide considerations of cyber security-critical tools.
• Drive initiatives within Product Cyber Security management as and when required for which you will need effective communication skills and presentation abilities to steer governance within.
• Conduct Independent Security reviews and confirmational reviews.
Additionally, you will maintain a general understanding relevant policies and directives of the organization. Ensure activities are in accordance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate

Though you have deep and wide experience within the field, you're still curious and not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You are a prestigeless leader, promotes free thought and is energized by ideas from others in the team.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
• Bsc or Msc degree in Technical University or equivalent
• Prior project management experience with Knowledge of ISO standards like ISO 27k/NIST, ISO 31000, ISO21434 and a understanding of UN ECE R155/R156, GDPR etc.
• Extensive relevant work experience within Vehicle systems with an exposure of R&D related activities
• Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity issues in a simple manner
• Previous experience in project management, from the automotive industry is meritorious.
