What you will be a part of
Aeronautics, a business area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aerostructures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide. Aeronautics is also responsible for development, production, marketing, selling and supporting of the Gripen fighter.
We are around 20 designated people marketing and selling Gripen Systems on the world market together with our Market Areas. Our department, Marketing and Sales Support, is organized within the Gripen Business Unit and works closely with personnel from other departments in Country Teams focused on selling Gripen to new customers.
Your role
As Product Sales Responsible you will work in close cooperation with Market Area 's Customer Sales Responsible through the whole Winning Business process, from initial contacts, during business development and offering to negotiations and signing of contracts.
You report to the Head of Marketing and Sales Support and your main role will be to manage one or more of Gripen country teams. The key aspects is to set up a strategy to win business togehter with our Market Areas and project manage all activities for the prospect. The role has a multidimensional essence and includes a wide area of internal and external touching points. You will also take part in other tasks in the department such as market messages, business intelligence, and organize and representing Saab and Gripen in several different contexts. Travel to your prospect countries will be a part of your daily work.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role we expect you to demonstrate a very strong drive and commitment to your task, social and collaboration skills and ability to enthusiasm and motivate team members, the ability to demonstrate leadership is imperative. You should have good knowledge of the Gripen System and how it can be utilized to develop the business for our potential customers
It is an advantage if you have experience from working in a sales and marketing landscape and have business knowledge or experience from working in an international and multi-cultural environment.
You should have the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational actions, enjoy working with business development in a complex environment, have a pragmatic view and like to work hard under intense periods.
You have a technical or business degree from university or experience from marketing and sales of products acquired by foreign authorities.
