The sales engineering team consists of 7 people working with a global responsibility in close cooperation with the Scania network. We are dedicated to improve the organization's know-how and ability to cater to customers' demands, as well as to find the best possible product offer for a specific customers' operation. Our team is the first point of contact with new product requests (PRS) and we are handling various questions from our distributors through our Pre Sales Help Desk.
Assignment
Your responsibility will be to support our organization in specifying vehicles with the optimum customer value, quality and cost effectiveness by utilizing the complete Scania tool box. You will support our Distributors and Area Managers with guidance in technical matters regarding chassis as well as complete vehicles. You will also work out the technical basis for offers and tenders, and support markets with specification ranges, and technical comparisons.
Furthermore, you will support in competence building at our distributors through training sessions or similar activities.
Your profile and experiences
We are looking for a person that is analytic, structured, flexible and with clear drive. You are a dedicated team player, service minded, and open and positive to implementing new working practices.
To be successful in this role, you need to build a good network across the organization, and be keen to understand in depth about our vehicles and how they contribute to customer profitability. If you are already familiar with the heavy vehicle industry and our product range it is a strong merit. You are comfortable in communicating in English.
