Through the Business Operations Transformations (BOT) program, we are creating a new landscape for finance and procurement by implementing SAP (S4 & Ariba). This involves high-level coordination since we have a complex landscape that needs to be technically aligned and focused on business priorities. As a roadmap leader within this area, you need to understand business processes in finance and procurement and know how to relate this to building blocks in the roadmap work.
Your experience from retail, finance and/or e-Commerce will help you to drive the transformation of our business. Your interpersonal skills will support you in building trustful relationships and to understand the IKEA business and the role of technology as an integral part of the business. You will help articulate the value of the roadmap to the business and IKEA at large.
Your appreciation of an agile work environment and experience of working with iterative and agile product development teams is crucial for this role. That's why you already know agile/scrum, including key events and artefacts.
To be successful in this role you have:
• proven training in Product/Portfolio Management or equivalent
• minimum 5 years of progressive, diverse experience in product/project portfolio management or similar
• experience from finance and procurement and in particular SAP (S4Hana/Ariba).
You also have knowledge of:
• developing and maintaining product roadmaps
• business planning processes
• how to assess, translate and track requests during their development into digital products
• managing change and transformations
• creating and developing Epics and User Stories.
• Real Estate/Property and BI/BW of advantage
As a person you have organisation and co-ordination skills taking multiple sources of information and bringing it together. We believe you perform work with care, accuracy, and attention to detail. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Our roadmap leaders ensure effective data collection to create and drive the overview of the roadmap and activities performed in the fields of product development, deployment, and digital experience. You will create multiple views of delivery plans for target stakeholders to ensure dependencies are understood and work closely with BOT co-workers to drive execution of the BOT program in alignment with digital roadmap and objectives. You support the BOT Roadmap and Product Roadmap Manager in aligning the BOT roadmap with the four Group Digital roadmaps: Products, Technology, Data & Analytics and Transformation.
This role involves working across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering a successful digital product development that meets business requirements and drives IKEA business results. That's why you monitor, track, and report on the product roadmap across all capability areas and domains. You also support and collaborate with Portfolio Management and other roadmap/portfolio offices to compile the overall Group Digital roadmap.
The product roadmap leader is expected to:
• Maintain awareness of features and high-level functionality to be delivered by the Product Teams by having intermediate knowledge of the roadmaps for each area
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, driving of and reporting on the roadmap for the Business Operations Transformation (BOT) program as well as Finance, Procurement, and Property related Capability and Platform Areas/Domains
In this role you will report to the Product Roadmap Manager.
