hela Sverige The Requirement Engineering teams assess and document global product requirements enabling a, to regulations, compliant product range. We develop, maintain and share competence in regulations applicable to the IKEA range of products. These are challenging tasks, involving a number of different stakeholders and a network of both internal and external contacts, but extremely rewarding for the customer experience at the same time.
International and national requirements and norms such as directives, regulations and standards for lighting products are areas that evolving quickly.
This is having a huge impact on our products, and are therefore subject for a lot of investigations, analyses and clarifications.

Requirement Engineering is looking for a Product Requirement Specialist (PRS) addressing regulations related to our lighting products, lamps / light sources and luminaires. As a PRS you are responsible to identify and document correct, clear and receiver-oriented product requirements. In other words - creating pre-requisites for a safe and compliant product range. You will be part of influencing relevant new and existing legislations, regulations and standards, while you develop a network of stakeholders in external alliances and standardization organizations. You work together with different product development and product engineering teams at IKEA of Sweden. Furthermore, you work with requirements related to both new and complex product types, related to our lighting range, as well as with improvements to the current range. Your will work with requirements related to both new and complex product types as well as with improvements to the current range. At present both global and local standards, as well as regulations addressing lighting and related products, are being developed in different standardization organizations around the globe. To ensure that IKEA products are developed in compliance with these standards, as well as other applicable regulations and directives, you will be responsible to ensure that these are known and easily understood by the IKEA product development teams and suppliers.
