As a Product Quality Manager (PQM) you will handle quality issues and work with the after market deliveries within the Product problem Process (QJ). The QJ Process is a structured approach applied by concerned organizations & functions in order to identify solve & implement solutions to market product quality problems. In summary the purpose with the QJ Process is to identify product quality problems experienced on the field and introduce solutions to satisfy the customers.
Your mission will be to ensure that the requirements are considered for each solution and will secure efficient handling and delivery of product support for each issue. This means that you will manage, coordinate, monitor the progress of and follow up quality issues with short lead times to be able to deliver successfully to our customers. Since you will juggle several issues at the same time communication- and coordination- skills is vital for the job.
Qualifications
We expect you to have a relevant university degree in the technical or mechanical area and that you have been working with quality related issues like ISO 9000 and 14000. We also believe you have experience of working in an international environment, and preferably within the automotive business.
Personality
As a person you are business minded with a structured approach. You have a high level of self-motivation and good social skills. You have excellent networking skills and knowledge of working with change in an open and communicative way. Deliveries at agreed time are important for you and you can handle many tasks at the same time. You work in a structured and systematic way. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English are a must.
