If yes - then you might just be the new Product Quality Leader - Diagnostics and Software (PQL) that we are hiring in Gothenburg.
Quality is a core value of the Volvo Group and a prerequisite for Customer Satisfaction. As a Product Quality Leader you hold a strategically important role belonging to the department Product Quality within the GTT Quality & Customer Satisfaction organization. The department has the overall responsibility over Complete Vehicle Quality including Diagnostics. You will be responsible for transformation of customer needs into useful diagnostic features in benefits of shorter downtime of the vehicle.
Main responsibilities:
The mission for the PQL Diagnostics and Software is to lead the quality work through cross functional teams to improve the diagnostic tools for adding value to our customers.
• Detect quality problems in early phases by analyzing warranty data, statistics, customer input etc.
• Lead pre-investigations to decision for solving process
• Launch and hand over the project to project manager
• Monitor progress of the launched projects, secure market implementation, monitor effectiveness of introduced solutions and feedback the organization
• Consolidate and report quality status for your technical area
• Propose/support external campaign when needed

Qualifications
• Master degree or equivalent in technical area
• Experience in vehicle diagnostics - Product and System knowledge
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent English skills
• Good analytical skills
• Six Sigma certification is considered a merit
• You will be an important part of the team of experienced project managers striving for excellence in vehicle quality and increase value for our customers.
Personal Profile
For success in this role you have work experience in relevant field for minimum 3 years and proved and record in excellent communication and presentation skills. You thrive to take the lead with courage and integrity and feel comfortable working autonomously. You have ability to build trust and to work cross-functionally. You have a strong ambition to develop our products and yourself.
