We currently have an exciting opportunity within the Scania Chassis Back Office Engineering Team to be a product project leader and have a crucial role in all the changes. You will join a team of highly professional colleagues at Scania Chassis. It's a big cross-functional area that strategically works together with the Chassis line to implement different projects, make investments and follow up on the current projects that we already have.
You will be part of the Back Office Engineering Chassis area but will work cross-sectional with almost all areas inside Chassis. In our group, we believe in a balance between work and personal life, and we support each other to have a sustainable work environment.
Your daily work
As a product project leader, you steer project work, ensure that necessary decisions are taken, and manage technical issues for the projects. Examples of activities include coordinating planning, managing and mitigating risk, and leading project meetings. Also, escalating all kinds of activities when necessary and creating a great network to have a good level of informational flow is very needed.
You will collaborate with skilled colleagues from the Chassis Lines Workshop Managers, e-Mobility team, and Chassis Front Office. Every day at work, you will influence Scania's future by your servant leadership, coaching your team, colleagues, and managers towards Scania's Vision.
Your profile
You have excellent product knowledge, are curious about our products and processes, have superb project management and leadership skills, and are passionate about building successful and committed teams. You also have the knack for understanding and communicating the context while simultaneously learning through the details.
You have a relevant education from the university. Experience from Scania's product development process is merit, as well as several years of experience in project management. Alternatively, you have several years of experience as a line manager within Scania.
As a person, you are engaged and structured. You have your team's well-being and performance in focus, and you work as a servant leader to fill the gaps needed for delivering value to our customers. With your superior communication skills, you can easily interact with different persons in different positions within the company. It would be best if you were comfortable with presenting in Swedish and English.
