As a Product Portfolio Manager, you will be working close with sales, world area marketing, and Industry experts as well as end-users to define and deploy our product offering for Chemical Industry. You will have a close collaboration with internal functions such as product management, engineering and integrated marketing. This means that you have good communication skills and an ability to create relationships with many different levels and cultures.
The position has a high business focus and requires both strategic thinking as well as a high drive for results. You need be able to analyze the business environment and set your own objectives and strategies for how to reach success and have an ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities. You also need to possess excellent technical knowledge acting as a subject matter expert to influence both the internal organization as well as industry organizations etc.

As a Product Portfolio Manager, you will travel and visit customer frequently.
Responsibilities
In this role you will lead all the chemical industry program/initiative for Rosemount branded Level Measurement products. You will identify, prioritize and develop opportunities and collaborate with different functions within Emerson to develop a complete aligned product offering for the chemical industry. As a Product Portfolio Manager your will influence integrated marketing to develop appropriate sales, marketing and training techniques and material. You will make product offering "easy" for sales and costumers.
This role will be the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to communicate industry specific needs into Product Management and a subject matter expert of our chemical industry portfolio, both internally and externally.
We are looking for you with an Engineering- or Business degree. You have several years of experience in the chemical process industry. It is a merit if you have knowledge of Level Measurement and applications.
Our business environment is international and requires fluency in English, both written and spoken.
You will find us in our brand new Innovation center in Mölnlycke, about 10 minutes from Gothenburg city with good commuting possibilities.
