Product Platform Hauler has a global responsibility for the complete articulated hauler including quality, cost and feature level. This includes for example specification of product targets, concept evaluation and selection, new functionality development, specification and follows up of sub system requirements to meet product targets and to lead early phases from Feasibility Study to Concept Gate.
The Hauler Platform is facing many new challenges and therefore we need to strengthen our department with an additional Functional System Integrator to be able to meet these challenges.
As a Functional System Integrator you will for example work with the product functional architecture by doing functional specifications, rapid prototyping, integration plans, approve verification and validation specification and follow up verification and validation status.
Main Responsibilities:
Secure the functional performance of the complete machine
Integration of sub systems to secure the right machine functionality
Requirement setting at sub system and/or functional level
Concept evaluation and rapid prototyping of new hauler functionality and sub systems
Performance calculations complete machine
Analyze logged data and identify if new logs are needed
Competence:
Master of science in engineering or equivalent experience
High technical knowledge of the end product and its sub-systems (electronics, engine, drive train, hydraulics, CAB, structures, exterior, installation) and how the subsystem should work together
Knowledge in applications and marketing conditions for the end product
Customer focus and good analytical skills to understand the true need of customers
Self-motivated and able to manage time and prioritize work load
Experience and/or willingness to operate machine to be able to evaluate machine functionality
Experience from Project Management.
Experience from Product Development
Leadership skills
Knowledge in model based design
Good communication skills
Proficient in written and spoken English
