Power Solutions is a business area within Scania responsible for sales and development of industrial, power generation and marine power systems. We have gone through impressive growth with all-time high 2018 and our second best year ever 2020, well on track towards 2025 targets.
Now we are recruiting a product planning manager to secure that our product road map and future products will continue to support our customers' long term profitability.

Your role
As a product planning manager you are responsible for analysis of customer needs, transferring these into product demands so that we can plan a project portfolio which fulfils Power Solutions' strategies and long term targets. You will have a key role in setting the priorities for our future product portfolio together with our Product Managers.
The person we are looking for will work with strategic, long-term decisions as well as more short term analysis. In this role you will coordinate many activities and requests at the same time.
Your profile
You enjoy communication and presenting your work in different forums is something you are looking forward to do. We believe that you are self-driven, analytic and you like to cooperate cross-functionally.
You speak and write English fluently and you have a university degree in engineering or/and business administration or equivalent work experience.

As a product planning manager you will work with PowerPoint, Excel and our product request system (PRS) in which we handle customer and market requests.
You will develop a wide network stretching across Power Solutions and you will get a good understanding on how to analyse, summarise and communicate business needs.
