Product Planner Wheel Loader
The Loader Product Planning department is responsible for the planning of future products and offers related to Volvo Wheel Loaders to secure a leading position in customer satisfaction. This includes the planning of new kinds of products for a wide range of uses and applications. In addition to the main responsibilities outlined below you will also support the overall development and efficiency of product planning department.
Key responsibilities:
Present the voice of the customer inside the company and into our future product strategies
Coordinate and prioritize market and business needs for future Wheel Loader planning
Act as market sub-project leader in early phases of development projects
Market research projects for identification, quantification and forecast of customer requirements
Analysis of market evolutions and changes in the competitive positioning as well as the market research necessary to support these activities
Identifying new business opportunities and develop decision document
Technical evaluation of competitors
Regular contact with Volvo dealers throughout the world
Close interaction with R&D and Global Marketing
Target setting for new projects
In this position you will report to the Director Product Planning Loaders. The location of this position is Eskilstuna, Sweden.
Experience and qualifications:
University degree in Engineering and/or Marketing
Good understanding of International and Asian markets is a benefit
Minimum of five years relevant industry experience with a good technical understanding of construction machinery or similar
Understanding of various customer applications and segments
Good communication skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels
Ability to work unsupervised in an analytical and structured manner
Good skills in written and spoken English
Travel required
