hela Sverige Use solid application competence to successfully drive collaboration with regions, product management and welding specialists across ESAB in the development of new Equipment products.
Provide transparency and involvement in projects across the ESAB 'welding community', building confidence in the quality and 'fit for purpose' of new products developed by Equipment R&D.
Drive application understanding in R&D, being the link between customer needs and technical requirements and solution.
As the Product Owner for Weld Process (PO WP) will own EDGE Weld Process teams backlog and is responsible for defining and prioritizing the work packages and is responsible for the quality of the deliveries. PO WP is responsible for the technical roadmap for EDGE WP and will contribute to the EDGE product roadmap owned by Global Product Management.
· Drive customer needs and application understanding in early phases of projects together with product management and engineers - ensuring the proper translation of customer needs to executable technical requirements.
• Plan and coordinate prototype evaluation and benchmark events from early phases to final product validation - ensuring feedback from regions and welding specialists across ESAB as well as their confidence in the product to be launched.
• Establish and drive forums to communicate and drive work with ESAB regional demo welder and/or other application experts in an organized way, connecting them to Equipment new product development and ensuring their contribution to projects.
• Actively develop engineers application know-how and develop own understanding of equipment systems technology.
• In collaboration with our stakeholders make sure to maximize the value delivered by the EDGE SW teams and that the deliveries are done according to the quality standards of ESAB.
• Actively contribute to our continues improvement in ways of working and processes to increase our development flow.
• Responsible for communicating and visualizing a realistic planning including risk list and be transparent with the status of work packages and code bases.
• Actively contributing to build strong collaborations between our teams on global sites, by understanding our differences and use that to build a stronger team.
• Defining the vision and owning the technical roadmap for EDGE WP.
• Prioritizing needs, juggle the triangle of time, scope, and budget.
