We are building a team that can work from both our locations, Lund and Gothenburg.
At the Core System Platform we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture - key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.
Our mission is in a full stack embedded development environment focusing on creating a safe, reliable and secure platform solution to enable the next generation of innovative car applications.
We want to work together with YOU who has a passion for creating innovating cars and are now looking for the right persons to join our Core System Platform Product Owner team.
The main challenges we will solve together includes developing frameworks and general services for the applications as well as OS integration and bring up of HW platforms. We are doing this focusing on key Volvo values like reliant and fault tolerant software combined with a vision of generic, evolvable software enabling continuous integration and deployment.
As a Product Owner (PO) you will be working closely together with the Teams, the Product Manager and stakeholders inside/outside of our ART to maximize the value for our customers. Together in the PO team you own the backlog, the Vision and the Roadmap.
Building a revolutionary new electrical architecture for the next generation of cars is challenging and as a technical leader you will need to master a wide set of experiences like
* Technical understanding and ability to negotiate technical solutions with architects, vendors and teams is a key aspect for the role.
* As a leader being able to communicate our future vision, to motivate and ensure clear requirements for the teams as well as for stakeholders
* Curiosity and analytical skills to find new techniques be able to process information and get focus on a continuously improving product and organization
* Inclusive mindset to get the best out of everyone within the organization and you work with prestige for the common values of the team, the ART and our customers.
We expect you to have several years of experience as a technical Product Owner and in particular we are looking for persons with experience from embedded SW development and particularly meriting is experience from automotive industry, developing platform SW, Continuous Integration & test development and as well experience within security domain.
Building the next generation of HW and SW platform for all Volvo cars is a challenging tasks. You need to be enjoy working in a constantly changing environment and be a solid part of the leadership team.
