Description
The client is looking for an experienced candidate to take on the role as Product Owner and lead one of their products within the Sourcing & Production domain. The domain consists of three product areas which together manages the development of 20+ applications.
Development of their systems are mainly performed in-house, based on a variety of technologies from the Microsoft technology stack, primarily focusing on .NET/Core and Azure.
The product you will be leading acts as a technology enabler for other products in the domain, both in terms of a platform provider but also best practices with regards to the entire SDLC. The product as of today manages one infrastructural (AKS) and two software platforms and employs 15+ resources.
The client works in an agile environment, with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology as a guiding framework. Development and test in the product is executed by their strategic offshore partner in an agile offshore model.
Work tasks
• Overall delivery and budget responsibility for your product
• Responsible for defining and driving the strategic work within the product in line with the overall product area & domain strategy.
• Together with relevant stakeholder maintain a delivery roadmap for the product and secure that the right pre-requisites are in place to execute on the roadmap.
• Lead and coach members of your team, such as software engineers, technical engineers, business experts etc.
• Together with area management, manage vendors and their deliveries

You act as a servant leader and motivate others by defining clear vision and goals for the product. You build teams by engaging and inspiring your team members. You have a strategic mindset and look at questions from all angels and with a long-term perspective.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• 5-10 years of experience in similar role
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have many of the skills/experiences below:
• Senior experience as Product Owner and leader
• Senior experience from driving or steering large, complex IT projects
• Experience from driving architectural transformations in custom development environments
• Senior experience working with offshore deliveries
• Experience from working in a Product Organization
• Knowledge about system development and agile development methods (SAFe, Scrum, KanBan)
• Experience as budget responsible
• Interest and willingness to act as a servant leader and to work according to the concepts of agile organizations
• Interest in (and preferable experience from) the retail planning domain
