We are looking for a Product Owner who wants to pursue the mission of empowering H&M Group with tools to efficiently order, deliver and account for non-commercial goods, vital to our customers' shopping experience. The team's mission also includes providing our sustainability stakeholders with a tool to follow up on carbon footprint.
The team is responsible for several global platforms for tendering and ordering of non-commercial goods, such as furniture, packaging, bags, hangers, marketing, and campaign material - essentially most of what we use to support the sales of commercial goods.
What you'll do
As Product Owner in the Non-commercial Goods Purchasing product team, you create the product roadmap and define the strategic vision. You ensure that the team's effort is aligned with the overall strategy through close relationships with key collaboration partners. Your main stakeholders are in the Group Expansion function!
A Product Owner at H&M Group is a visionary leader who guides new product ideas from an initial concept to product launch and assures full benefit realization. You are expected to show strong customer empathy and have a deep business understanding as well as strong appreciation for technology. You will be leading a cross-functional team of 11 people including software engineers, application specialists and business experts who delivers exceptional business results. Furthermore, you will:
Contribute to the end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production
Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs
Set a budget and follow up costs for product team
Align with other Product Owners to ensure interfaces to other products
Understand the financial impact of team and product related decisions
Communicate with product specific stakeholders within the H&M Group
Things we look for
Experience from the retail industry and like to work in an international set up
Understanding of sourcing and procurement processes and solutions
Experience from leading teams
Familiar with the agile ways of working
You take ownership, think creatively, execute initiatives and drive growth
A self-starter who is confident liaising with a wide range of stakeholders
An engaged, open-minded and ambitious team player willing to share and learn
An excellent communicator with problem-solving capability - you love to simplify the complex!
Knowledge of the supply chain, purchasing and/or sourcing is qualifying
