We are now looking for a Product Owner to our Azure Platform product team! We are developing enterprise scale self-service cloud platforms to enable even faster value creation for the entire H&M Group! If you would be excited to work both on strategic product vision as well as feature prioritization, then this is the opportunity for you!
We have come far. We have been named best in class as Center for Cloud Enablement by Microsoft. We have presented our Cloud transformation journey and success stories on events like Microsoft Ignite, DevOps Enterprise Summit and Tech Days Sweden. We frequently push the agendas of GCP and Azure and we interact with engineers and product teams to support the needs. Our mission is to amplify productivity, quality and innovation across the H&M Group.
What you will do
The Product Owner role for our Azure Cloud platform is a strategic one, it's our main infrastructure platform supporting the entire H&M Group and brands. You will take end-to-end ownership of the product with accountability for value delivered, set ambitious and clear product mission and quarterly goals, translate these goals into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs. Your product spans from cloud security, cost management, driving cloud maturity, enabling cloud transitions, and doing automation. Automation allowing developers and others to get fast access to cloud and maintain it efficiently. Furthermore, you will also:
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of market / industry landscape, staying up to date with Cloud vendors and services
• Establish and maintain relations and collaborations with comparable enterprises, also allowing benchmarking the Azure platform against theirs
• Interact with vendors (e.g. Microsoft) for advice and for driving our interests and requests to implementation
• Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles
• Monitor and manage financial impact of decisions and priorities of the product team
Who are you?
We are looking for a driven Product Owner with great technical and leadership capabilities. We believe you are either an experienced Product Owner/Team lead with a strong interest in cloud, or perhaps you are an Azure Cloud architect with experience building and maintaining Cloud platforms - with a drive to shift path towards product. We believe you are flexible, curious and like to work in an environment that is not yet formalized with a lot of exciting visions ahead. You are a natural networker with good communication skills who enjoys growing long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, always keeping customers and users at the heart of your focus! We also believe you have:
• An ability to shift between the broad stokes with long term or overview perspective and paying attention to details and being highly analytical
• Worked in a global context and managing stakeholders on both executive and operational levels
• A truly agile mindset with the ability to inspire and bring people together, a structured and pragmatic approach to setting and communicating priorities in a dynamic environment
