Who are we?
The automotive industry is undergoing a rapid transformation with major technology shifts occurring. At Services, within Volvo Group Trucks Technology, we are taking significant steps to support the shift towards more services and new business models. We are now looking for a Product Owner to work with My Truck app. We want to continue the successful life of this service and develop it further to meet customer and market demands.
What will you do?
As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the My Truck App and service. You will work on developing new functionality and new technology to improve the service as well as being responsible for the maintenance since this service is already available on the market. The customer feed-back and needs are essential in this work.
You will work in close collaboration with our brands, development teams, product design, portfolio manager and other functions to secure the implementation. You will be a major player in steering and coordinating the work in order to create as much value as possible for the customers and Volvo. You will work in a flexible environment where it is important to understand the customer needs. In this role you will interact will different multi-disciplinary teams within Volvo Group.
Who are we looking for?
As a person, you have a passion to understand the customer and their needs. You have a holistic view, take own initiatives, and drive them forward with a business and customer mindset. You have excellent coordination & communication skills and can naturally build relations, with customers as well as internal stakeholders. You also have a positive attitude and adapt to changing conditions.
Relevant Experience
We expect that you have proven track record of at least ten years in product and/or service development as well as experience from software development. It's beneficial if you have experience from app development. Leading technical teams is essential for this role. Thereby, we expect that you have experience from technical coordination roles. It is considered as an advantage if you technical knowledge/depth. Experience in commercial-vehicle transportation is advantageous as the understanding of customer's needs is central in this position. You have good knowledge of agile way of working in a flexible environment.
Applicants shall have a M.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
