Let us describe the challenge we offer
Financial Planning & Strategy Product Area is a hybrid organization with staff from both Finance and Corporate Digital working closely together, responsible for the development and maintenance of IT-systems in the Finance area. We are divided into 5 Product clusters and now we are looking for a Product Owner for SAP Platform products in the cluster SAP platform.
The SAP Platform Team works with managing the total SAP landscape within Volvo Cars. This includes securing platform governance, compliance and setting standards and principals for ways of working. We support the organization with areas such as the platform maintenance and platform operations. We also have a technical development team from our supplier which supports the different feature teams. Further, we deliver to different feature teams across all areas and as a Product Owner you will have the opportunity to interact with many different stakeholders.
What you will do
You will create and own the team backlog and lead the analysis in the team together with the Scrum Master. As Product Owner, you will manage the development team and take an active part in securing the quality and ways of working. You will have the mandate to prioritize among the activities for the team and be the main contact person towards other teams and stakeholders. The role itself is both challenging and fun and will be a central role in the SAP platform Cluster but with close collaboration within the Finance area and across the other product areas. As this is a rather new team, you will get the possibility to affect how the team will work already from start.
Moreover, you will be responsible for the daily priorities within the team and participate in the PO sync meeting in the Financial PS Area. You will plan and lead stakeholder involvement and prioritizing as well as leading improvements of working process and procedures. You will also lead PI Planning for the Product.
Qualifications
• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent degree or background
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in SAP area leading deliveries in areas like basis, SAP technical development and/or technical architecture
• Strong understanding of modern SAP solutions in OEM 's
• Documented leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Experience in Scrum/SAFE
• Experience in stakeholder involvement
Competence and experience are important, but personality and potential are key
We are looking for a strong leader who loves problem solving and likes a challenge. A person who has very good skills in collaboration and communication. We believe that you are team oriented and that you are interested in learning and sharing knowledge with others. You have a structured way of working and you are good at planning and are adjustable to changes. In this role it is important to be good at analyzing data but also be a "hands on" person. Further, you are creative and innovative and see possibilities and not problems.
