What we offer
As Global Online Business grows, we are looking for a passionate Product Owner for Payments & Billing that can bring value to our finance teams and ultimately to our customers. You will join the Direct Commerce Solution team and work together with finance process and delivery experts that focus on developing our new subscription business - Care by Volvo. Care by Volvo is Volvo Cars' new direct-to-consumer business model, so you'll be part of shaping the future of the company in one of our most prioritized areas. Of course, we have fun whilst doing it.

What you 'll do
Your task is to create and build the backbone for our global consumer payments and billing capabilities that will deliver our online and subscription services. In this role, you will be the person driving improvements across the board and maximize value. You do this by owning and deciding upon priorities in the digital product team's backlog. You are the voice of the user and have a business perspective and technical know-how.

Responsibilities include:
* Owning the Payment & Billing product: Setting the Global Online Business roadmap as well as articulating the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders. And capturing requirements on the product from various stakeholders, e.g. business users and architects. Owning, building, prioritizing, deciding, and refining the stories in the backlog including defects and enablers.

* Collaborate with others: Work with delivery teams to refine processes and solve operational issues. Coordinating content dependencies with other Product Owners. Support during development and sign off UAT.

* Being up to date: Being up to speed with the market trends in the area of consumer online payments and billing. Ensure customer billing fulfills tax requirements for respective markets and coordinate initiatives related to this.

You and your skills
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
* Leading and driving product strategy as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent for a minimum of 3 years.
* Building and operating online consumer payments and billing solutions, preferably within a global multimarket environment.
* Working with financial ERP-systems, preferably SAP/S4Hana.
* Higher education, preferably within finance.
* Fluent in English, both verbally and written.

You are excellent at communication, presenting, and relationship building with teams and global stakeholders. You have a holistic viewpoint and being value-oriented, with an ability to inspire and motivate others in working towards a goal. It is also an advantage if you have accounting and tax competence and are used to agile development methodologies and working in digital product teams.
