The department, In-Car Digital, is part of the Vehicle Software & Electronics unit within P&Q and is responsible for electrical systems and components in the areas of Driver Interaction (Instrument Cluster, Entertainment Displays, Switches, Climate Control), HMI and Infotainment (Audio, Navigation, Telephony, Bluetooth, Connectivity).
We are now looking for Product Owner for the Mechanical Integration area within In-Car Digital
As a Product Owner (PO) you will be part of the management team for the Multimedia Agile Release Train (ART) and you will report to the Director of the ART. You will be working closely together with the Team, Team Manager, Scrum Master, stakeholders and other Agile Release Trains in order to secure the needed CAD deliveries for all In-Car Digital components in the Vehicle Programs. You own the backlog for the Mechanical Integration team and need to prioritize the content in order to fulfil the needs of the stakeholders. The Mechanical Integration team consists of around 10 skilled CAD engineers.
Main responsibilities
* Lead the team together with Scrum Master and Team Manager
* Prioritize and negotiate tasks in order to fulfil Vehicle Program deliveries
* Collaborate and set expectations with product manager, teams, stakeholders, customers and architects
* Balance the backlog from multiple directions: stakeholders, managers, other ARTs, scrum masters, teams and the product manager
* Set vision and technical roadmap for the product area
* Participate in the Pre- and Post-PI planning to define the inputs, milestones, and high-level objectives
Required qualifications
* CAD and HW development experience from the automotive industry
* BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience
* Experience of working in an international environment
* Master the English language both spoken and in writing
* Knowledge of Volvo Cars development process
* Driver's license B
Meritorious
* Experience from working with agile development
* Documented experience from project management

* Ability to independently plan, drive and follow up your work towards objectives
* Structured, accurate and skilled to summarize and present status of your teams work
* Significant people skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to show courage and build confidence

Location for this position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
