Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers, we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.
We are now looking for a Product Owner with line manager responsibility.
You will lead a team of dedicated colleagues developing and operating a portal, which enables in-depth trouble shooting and data analysis across our complete stack of micro services for connected services. The portal is a central part of our delivery providing advanced tools, which are essential for our capability to manage and support our connected services. The users are mainly part of Volvo Group organization, but will also be enabled to some external functions.

The role
As product owner, your focus will be to drive a product vision through all stages of its lifecycle by managing and prioritizing the backlog of services and features within a service area. You will act to secure that features are delivered in time and drive quality through the product life cycle.
You will act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team. You will be working in a social environment, which requires you to be a communicative and an extrovert person with good abilities in building and maintaining strong relationships.
As line manager, you will manage and support the team to reach the objectives while establishing a good working environment. You have a passion for people, work to ensure that they have capability to perform their work efficiently, that they have opportunity to develop and create a positive team spirit.
You will lead, plan and report the ongoing work in relevant foras and communities.

Your profile
Most important of all is your personality and desire to drive a product concept. More than that, we believe that you have long experience from working within a field close to or within product management. You are used to taking responsibility and have the ability to communicate on different levels and with different kind of people. You are experienced in creating and presenting product roadmaps and status reports.
You are a social person with passion for people, who enjoy working with others. You have strong leadership courage, entrepreneurial spirit and strong ownership mentality. You are a strong believer in culture and show a genuine care for people. You are successful in building good working relationships and networks.
The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a solid record and references.
We believe you have strong business understanding and great relationship-building skills. Your outstanding ability to coach, lead and encourage others makes your environment thrive and grow!
We also believe you have:
A university degree in a relevant field
Experience of product management and/or managing a team
User knowledge within tools used in product management and in the border of product development
Experience from the automotive industry is considered beneficial
You are:
Fluent in English - both written and spoken
Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
