Would you like to be part of a Nordic team, developing the future credit processes for our retail credit customers? We are now looking for an Product Owner/Business Analyst in Retail Capability and are offering you an exciting opportunity to develop a key capability at the heart of Nordea. The role will focus on driving the development of the future credit processes for our Household and SME customers.
About this opportunity
Welcome to the Retail Capability team. Our aim is to build sustainable processes and supporting tools that drive automation of retail credit decisions and enable great customer experiences. We work closely with our IT partners to lead the development in this space. We maintain and foster close collaborations with stakeholders and development units in the business areas and other group functions.
As a Product Owner/Business Analyst you will play a valuable role in the strategic work and development of our new services, by planning and implementing the roadmap and vision not only for your development team but also for the entire credit area.
The job offers an exciting mix of challenges, where different areas of knowledge and skills are needed: data and analytical skills, ability to digest and understand business and IT processes, a good understanding of governance and compliance topics as well as excellent communication skills.
In this role, you will be driving improvements and maximising value by owning and deciding upon priorities in your development team's backlog based on your business perspective, while maintaining technical integrity of the features and components. You will be the voice of the user; you have a business perspective and technical know-how. In this role you will work with strategic, as well as operational hands-on tasks and the role will be split between being the Product Owner and leading a development team, and being a Business Analyst.
What you will be doing:
* Plan and drive the implementation of the roadmap, create a vision and purpose.
* Evaluate the business need of items in the development team's backlog taking into account the capacity of the development team.
* Structure and drive projects and analytical tasks from initiation to successful delivery in close collaboration with management and stakeholders.
* Ensure that product development is in line with overall goals and the needs of end users.
* Facilitate continuous improvements with focus on simplification and automation.
* Onboard and involve stakeholders in strategic dialogues on all organizational levels.
* Identify potential and actively propose improvements to streamline the end to end credit processes, enable automation through data and increase quality.

You'll join a diverse, multi-faceted and passionate team. Occasional travel primarily in the Nordics should be expected.
Who you are
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best - and that we imagine you share with us.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Have an interest in IT and experience of driving IT related projects and/or the PO role
* Are results-oriented and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Should be able to understand requirements, process and systems, at a detailed level when needed, and at the same time be able to connect the work to the bigger picture
* Have excellent people skills that help you to drive initiatives across organizations and countries, and collaborate between units in a calm and constructive manner
* Have analytical skills, solid problem-solving skills, and a structured way of working
* Are self-driven, proactive, and passionate about bringing change forward
* Like to challenge the status quo and eager to continuously improve
* You enjoy working in an open and agile atmosphere, where you will cooperate closely with colleagues across Nordea

Your experience and background:
* Driver of business analysis, business requirements and implementation of change
* Strong communication capacity: comfortable initiating and driving meetings with stakeholders
* Good understanding of the SAFe methodologies
* A professional level of English, both written and spoken
* Experience in Product Owner or stakeholder management role is a plus and a background within the credit area is an advantage
