Who are we?
In the Corporate Worklife Area and product portfolio, we support our Corporate Business organizations with digital capabilities. In the Digital Legal and Governance Cluster, the Governance Risk and Compliance product is supporting the Business Digital transformation, to set up a robust and modern digital landscape of applications supporting the Governance Risk and Compliance stakeholders and their business requirements.
We are now looking for a Product Owner that will work together with a team of Scrum Master, Business Analysts and Tech Lead.
What you will do
Together with the Product Manager, you will set the direction and lead the product team. You will be working closely with the Business Stakeholders within the Compliance & Ethics office and GRC initiative; a cross-functional collaboration to set the strategic roadmap, objective and key results, and prioritize the features and acceptance criteria.
Within the product team, you will break down the features into stories and tasks, as well as manage product backlogs and take part in each team's SAFe ceremonies, prioritizing based upon input from the stakeholder. You will be articulating and consistently gaining awareness of the short/long term vision to both the team and relevant stakeholders, as well as participating as a member of the extended product management team and review and contribute to the cluster-level vision, roadmap, and content presentations. Additionally, you will protect the end-user experience and vocalize discrepancies if technical solutions do not reach expectations.
This position is located at the Volvo Cars headquarters in Torslanda with the possibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.
You and your skills
To fit this role, we see that you can balance your product as well as ensuring priorities with other product teams to deliver timely quality releases that provide high business value and exceed customer expectations.
Furthermore, we believe that you have experience in leading initiatives that cover global scope with many business stakeholders with high visibility to senior management. You have previously worked with architects, developers, and Global Supplier Management and you are familiar with working under the agile methodology and can drive our engineering and business efforts under the SAFe framework. It's an advantage if you also have experience from working within the business area.
Who you are
You have a strategic mindset, a strong business acumen, and you are an open-minded collaborator with the ability to build cross-functional relations. You have the ability to create a good environment, build a strong team, and communicate effectively and document efficiently in a structured way. You pay excellent attention to both the big picture and details while working at a very fast pace, and you have a proven track record of taking initiative to suggest and implement new ideas.
Finally, you are passionate about solving problems creatively and proactively, and you can anticipate requirements and come with advanced preparations.
