We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Owner to join the Pack Thermal team. The position would be at the line group energy storage thermal design which is responsible for the development of several components within the battery pack. The thermal components, insulation, cooling plate and coolant pipes as well as the crash protection bump stops.
The Product owner of Pack Thermal is responsible for leading the team within the following areas:
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap and backlog
• Support team members in defining team scope, limitations, properties, and targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
• Deviation management, milestone content approval and risk analysis
• Coordination of technical issues within the VCT
• Responsible for the articles within the team
The development work for VCT Energy Storage is performed in agile cross-functional teams containing engineers from design, simulation and testing as well as members from purchasing and production. This leads to short hand over times for the different areas which is important as we are moving forward with development at a fast pace.
We are working closely together with the other teams within our VCT and the goal is to have a working climate that leaves room for both productiveness as well as laughter.
Your profile
We place a high value on personal drive, good communication and a team spirit. Taking responsibility for the assignments given to you is important and will require an ability to structure the work and balancing several parallel processes.
• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work experience in the automotive industry as a design engineer or from a relevant cross-functional area.
• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role within design is a merit.
• Professional fluency in English is a requirement, and Swedish is a merit.
