Together with all co-workers involved in the embedded process and tools, we either improve or develop methods and tools that are used by Electric and Electronic (E/E) developers.
With a high focus on safety and quality, our aim is to increase the speed of our product development work without jeopardizing the premium level of Scania products.
Your new job
As a Product Owner for Architecture and Embedded design (Arch&ED) methods and tools, you are responsible for balancing the organizational and strategical needs of the methods and tools in your area.
This area has a wide surface to explore, providing you with a large opportunity for learning and growing.

You will be working cross-functional and cross-organizational, beeing involved in all project phases from early concept development and onwards. You will be networking to a large extent. Arch&ED tools is a significant driver of the Traton Modular system.
Example of work tasks within Arch&ED:
• Analyse stakeholder needs and break them down into concrete work packages that can be assigned to the different teams. Typical stakeholders are E/E developers and the Product architecture teams within Traton.
• Contribute to the development of the Traton Modular System by making Arch&ED tools and methods flexible, while fulfilling our business needs. This includes close collaboration with Product Owners responsible for other parts of the methods & toolchain.
• Continuously develop solutions for our architecture/design methods and tools.
• Establish and maintain the Vision and Roadmap
• Manage and prioritize the backlog
• Guide the team in delivering value
• Ensuring that the tools fulfill our own requirements.
Through these tasks, you will establish a broad network where collaboration is the key to success. Therefore your leadership skills are of great importance and will be developed in the role.
Your Profile
We are looking for a person with knowledge and practical experience in Architecture in embedded systems. Experience from Scania's embedded systems development is a merit but not a must. If you have a history of similar work in other industries such as train, aviation, medical etc. your experience and knowledge is of high value.
Your ability to see the whole picture and how different parts within the Arch&ED methods and tools domain will be an asset in this role. At the same time, you see the importance of getting things right and working meticulously with details. Solving complicated and complex matters are part of your background, preferably from safety-critical embedded system development.
You enjoy working independently but systematically.
As a person, you are curious and truly interested in other people's opinions to understand the needs of different roles. You value collaborations and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good skills in presenting your work result to stakeholders and also documenting technical instructions and guidelines.
Knowledge in Cyber Security (UN-ECE R155) and Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is meritorious.
