What we offer
The automotive business will change more during the next five years than it has over the last fifty. Driven by electrification and autonomous drive, new business models are emerging and business requirements on automotive services are changing dramatically. This is driving Volvo Cars Group with Affiliated Brands to build new services in newly established Uptime organization, to keep cars running on the roads.
Fleet Service Management is part of the Uptime organization within Global Customer Service. Our mission is to provide top class fleet services for the various brands within the Volvo Cars Group. This includes development and operation of all products & processes needed to optimize fleet profitability as well as services to deliver on the brands' unique customer promises.
As Fleet Optimization Product Owner, you will be a key player in building this new function's organization, products and processes. You will work in a cross-functional team in close collaboration with both strategy, digital development and market functions globally across our group brands.
Your key tasks
We need you to identify and develop the new products and services to serve Uptime's customers in the best way. You will match up customer requirements with Volvo Cars' internal expertise, identify areas where further development is necessary, and set in motion the process of developing additional capabilities.
You will ensure that, as Uptime and Uptime's customers enter new markets, Fleet Service Management products, services and processes remain suitable to meet the customer's needs.
You will interact with other stakeholders within Uptime and the broader Volvo Cars organization to ensure that the products, services, processes, and systems in Fleet Optimization all work together effectively and can be operated efficiently.
Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have university degree and experience in product development and from developing new products of services.
You have strong project leadership skills and a solid experience from the car rental/leasing business or similar.

For this position, you should be ambitious, energetic and communicative with an entrepreneurial mind-set. Since the area is in an early phase, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy working in a changing environment. You are structured, you have a natural ability to plan your work, and follow up on deliveries.
