We are looking for a Product Owner for 1 to 2 of our SW RND teams in Embedded SW for XTM Series, Packet-Optical Transport Platform.
You will work closely together with our PLM (Product Life Cycle Management function) as a bridge between the RND teams and the PLM function together with 3 other POs.
The RND teams are cross functional (SW development and test) and has the feature responsibility throughout the product life cycle. As a PO you are member of the SW team. The teams develop and work in a continuous integration pipeline towards a release project.
RND management strives to build a culture of engaged, motivated employees that wants to contribute to the product development as well as our way of working and work atmosphere.
As a PO you are an important player in running the SW Design/Development/QA (Quality Assurance) domain together with the other POs and the group managers.
Infinera works with continues improvements and you will get the space to run your responsibility area and thereby also develop yourself, the domain and way of working.
Responsibilities:
Be the bridge between PLM and RND
Ensure that the backlog for your team has balance between features, technical debt, future technologies and improvements.
Ensure requirements and priorities are clarified
Define scope of delivery together with the team
Secure delivery according to release criteria
Coordinate with other POs in the same and other Product Areas
Plan for the team's ability to deliver
Support the team in agile ceremonies
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Leadership skills, >5 years of experience from technical leader positions i.e Product Owner, Project Manager, Scrum Master or equivalent
Experience from Agile methodologies
Highly motivated team player
M.Sc or B.Sc in Computer Science, IT or other relevant area, or equivalent work experience.
Good product and system understanding from complex products, Embedded SW and/or Telecommunication
Good in Communication
English, written and spoken
It is an advantage if you have been working as SW developer or QA engineer earlier in your career. If you have the interest, you will have the possibility to support the team with SW development and/or test engineering.
