We are now looking for a product owner to join our team in this exciting journey where the combination of digitalization, electrification and connected vehicles will be a key to unlock future success for our customers.
The world of transport and logistics is rapidly transforming into a sustainable ecosystem and at Scania we are facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions. Besides a whole new product range this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers.
Our team has today the responsibility of delivering premium vehicle related services such as Climate control of your truck from the Scania Driver App. Looking ahead, many more services like this are being planned where we see a big demand from our customers, and the need to have a seamless omni-channel experience between the new Scania Digital Dashboard in our vehicles and existing digital solutions such as My Scania and the Scania Driver App supporting our drivers daily.
Your tasks
You will work closely with the development team, ensuring they have a suitable amount of preparation work to do. This means planning and prioritizing product features in the backlog and continuously developing the product. You will also work with user support and incident-related activities, to ensure that our services are up and running.
You will be part of a product lead team, which has joint responsibility for the product vision, roadmap and finding business opportunities and working closely with our UX and CX designers researching and analysing data from the market needs and the user's requests. Working cross-functionally within Scania together with other product owners, product managers and other departments will be a natural way of working for you.
Your profile
We believe you are great at interacting with customers, always seeing their needs and transforming them into real value. You are a brave person who doesn't focus on the obstacles thrown your way, but instead on how to learn from and overcome them, and your courage helps you to take decisions and drive in a certain direction. Your curiosity drives your learning and openness toward seeing things from different perspectives. You should enjoy and see the benefits of working in a team. And we also expect you to be a great communicator who can bridge the gap between technical details and business lingo.
