Do you want to work with the future of entertainment? Are you passionate about building world-class streaming solutions? Great, then we could have a match! We are looking for a Product Owner to join the Viafree web team at our office in Stockholm.

THE POSITION

You will work as a Product Owner for the Viafree web team. Your mission is to run the product development of the Viafree application and create the best possible service together with the developers, who will report directly to you. Your team will consist of six people, and an important part of the role will be to lead and coach them. You will work close to our Head of Product and the other product owners to set the product strategy, create the road map and identify new features for the product. Everyday work will among other things consist of translating requirements into stories, work with priorities, market research, backlog grooming, technology discussions and acceptance test. The Viafree team is cross-functional and agile and we are constantly striving to improve our product, technology and the way we do things.

THE CHALLENGE AHEAD

You will together with the team develop Viafree to be the best AVOD-service on the market. You will apply data driven and iterative approaches to reach your business and user targets. You need to combine leadership and product strategy with hands on work, such as managing backlog and collaborate with the rest of the product and tech organization for Viafree and Viaplay. The role includes the following key responsibilities:


• Collaborate with Head of Product on road map, planning and product strategy
• Staff responsibility for Viafree web team, conduct 1-2-1s, development plans, recruitment etc.
• Handle backlog and translate requirements into well prepared stories, work with priorities and planning.
• Be the link between Tech Lead and Head of Product and contribute to a good balance between technical improvements and new features.
• Collaborate with the rest of the organization around operations, processes and priorities
• Taking an active part in constantly improving the working environment and be involved in planning demos, Hack Days, lunch beats, trainings etc.
• Energize the organization as a whole and be a great leader


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

For you to succeed in this role, we think that you are a collaborative individual with several years of relevant experience from business, technical or product management. Regardless of your previous job, its beneficial to have experience with digital technologies. Most importantly, you are driven and passionate about streaming - just like us!


• Experience of developing digital products in an agile environment
• Experience of leadership
• Experience of agile backlog management
• Curiosity in regards to new technology
• Experience with A/B testing and data driven decision making
• Bachelor or Masters Degree or the equivalence
