Volvo Cars Connected Car is an Digital Development department within Volvo Cars that drives the development of Volvo Cars' Connected Car solution. We are responsible for the cloud platform and services that provides telematic and infotainment services to the connected Volvo cars. Connected Car is also responsible for daily operation of all digital products provided to the Car and its users. Among those the well known Volvo On Call, Sensus and Active Safety features.
What do we offer?
Connected Car will grow its Digital Development capabilities to support new cloud functions needed for Autonomous Drive, Electrical Propulsion and many Customer facing digital products. Additionally the continuously growth of the number of connected cars and the increased Security and Privacy focus brings new demand to the cloud platform. The development and operation is performed in close collaboration with both our internal design departments and external suppliers in a dynamic and international environment.
We offer You to join us in this growth by joining our Agile development teams and be part of our ongoing implementation of the SAFe Framework.
We are now looking for four Product Owners to Connected Car.
What you 'll do
The Agile Product Owner maximize value added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the Team Backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution, while maintaining technical integrity of the features/components for the Agile team. As a Product Owner within the Connected Car Solution you will work with one of the areas Autonomous Drive, Active Safety, Electric Propulsion, Remote Vehicle Services and Authentication/Authorization.
You work together with the Agile Release Train Product Manager, Architect and other POs to analyse, plan and scope the upcoming program increment and future roadmap. At the end of each iteration you are responsible for accepting the user stories developed by the team making sure that the stories together builds the features defined by the Product Manager.
You and your skills
* Profound technical competence and background
* Business and end customer value understanding
* Is a strong individual contributor
* Experience of Agile product development
* An ability to quickly learn new technical areas
* BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience
* Master the English language both spoken and in writing
Technical skills
* Vehicle telematics domain
* Cloud and virtualization experience
* Preferable domain knowledge of one of the following areas Autonomous Drive, Active Safety, Electric Propulsion, Remote Vehicle Services (i.e. Volvo On Call) and Authentication/Authorization
