We are looking for a product owner who has a strong eye for business value, user experience and experience in releasing software to end users. Do you love products, want to work a new exciting product, and play a vital role in our continued success? Join us in Hornstull today.
Besedo manages and moderates content for major online brands receiving millions of user generated content that needs quality assurance. We have developed numerous tools to improve this process which in the past has been manually driven, but are now focused on improving our Moderation Platform to be handled by external users, and not only our in-house teams. The product is an interface for filter configuration, automation and as well as moderation.
We think you love building products and have skills and experience in:
• Ensuring SW development has an updated and prioritized product backlog.
• Ensuring all relevant stakeholders is updated on current progress and planned release status.
• Participating in Product Management work e.g. epic vision, roadmap prioritizing etcetera.
• A commercial interest of “Software as a Service†products.
• Visual (mockup) communications
Who are you?
• You have a passion for building great products
• You have 3+ years of experience working as a Product Owner or a similar role
• You are very familiar with agile methods
• You like taking on responsibility and feel comfortable taking decisions
• You are a strong project manager and good at documentation
• Strong understanding of development and background is a plus, but business eye is more relevant than a hands on engineer involved with solutions
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing well-loved products – including defining product roadmaps and long-term plans.
• You get stuff done! As demonstrated by working as a product owner in high performing teams that have built, deployed, and iterated-on mass-market applications.
• A storyteller, with experience communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels within organizations, including oral and written presentations, proposals, specifications, and reports.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts.
• A track record of partnering with Design teams to drive continued product improvement.
• Fluent English and Swedish
