We belong to the Electrical & Electronics Architecture organization, part of Vehicle Technology within Global Trucks Technology. We design, develop and maintain the Vehicle Health software that enables functionality to realize the best possible uptime for our customers. We also create the right vehicle data for Volvo internal and external services and tools.
Who are you?
Are you someone that would like to be in the forefront of our technology journey to become world leaders in sustainable transport solutions? Do you want be part of defining and developing applications that gives our customers great value in transport solutions? Are you interested in Data, Predictive Maintenance, AI, Machine Learning and Onboard Algorithms? Then we are looking for you!
You will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally to design, develop, and maintain application software that enables both in-vehicle functionalities and off-board services for our customers. You should have an eye for details to support project deliveries, but also the vision and the energy to contribute to the design and strategy of new technical solutions and technology enablers. Prioritization and leadership skills are also essential as you will have operational responsibility for the team delivery. You will own and maintain the team backlog, manage risks and issues raised by the team, coordinate dependencies and act as an interface towards stakeholders. You are someone that is willing to work "hands -on" in applying the knowledge and experimenting. You have a holistic view, and a system design & risk management perspective. In this role you will contribute to strategic roadmaps, our vision and program backlogs. You will also define product increment objectives for the team and drive sprint goals and iteration content via prioritized stories.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics-, software-, computer engineering (or similar)
Experience in leading an agile team
Embedded software development knowledge
Automotive experience
Excellent communication skills
