hela Sverige The Digital Transport Operator is new division within Connected Services organisation with the purpose to provide transport companies with tools that enable them to improve efficiency, profitability and sustainability. The division currently employs around 80 employees fairly evenly organised into four business areas of which Transport Operations is one.
Within the business area Transport Operations we are looking for a Product owner to join one of our existing development teams - the Daily Operations. The Daily Operations team provides customers with monitoring and management tools based on connected vehicles and trailers and the connected data they supply such as position and status.
This is an essential part of transport operations where we help our customers to manage their fleet operations in the best possible way in real time.
Job description
As a Product Owner within Transport Operations, you will work closely with the developers in your team making sure that the team backlog is updated and in good shape. You have the primary responsibility for building, planning and prioritizing the team's backlog so the team can provide great business value to our customers and end users.
Knowledge of customer needs is crucial for maintaining a vivid and healthy backlog. You will continuously gather this knowledge through communication with customers, Scania colleagues, business intelligence as well as through partners.
Since the development is a team effort you will need to communicate and coordinate your work with other Product Owners within the organisation and keep yourself well informed on what is being developed by neighbouring teams to ensure efficient synergies.
Your profile
You probably have a few years of experience in the role of Product Owner, alternatively a few years of working experience within the area of agile development or service development. You appreciate the value of good cooperation and you are comfortable with the agile culture and ways of working.

A prerequisite is excellent communicative skills allowing you to effectively communicate with different types of stakeholders, in writing as well as verbally.
Experience from Service development within the transport, logistics or heavy commercial vehicle industry is meriting.
Some travelling will be required since you will be responsible for collecting customer requirements within the area.
