Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and committed Product Owner to join our world-class team Platform & Application Operations, focusing on technical backend products related to our security alarm systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our backend products, collaborating closely within our team as well as with other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the key liaison between the technical development teams, stakeholders, and leadership to define and prioritize product requirements and roadmaps.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs in the development organization, as well as market trends and industry best practices.
* Lead the creation and maintenance of product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical backend products, such as:
+ Docker orchestration tool (Kubernetes)
+ Message bus (RabbitMQ)
+ Monitoring/metrics (Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, ...)
+ Server OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, ...)
+ Databases (Cassandra, MySQL, ...)
* Collaborate with other teams and management to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product features.
* Conduct assessments of product performance, user feedback, and market insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
* Define, document and communicate product vision, strategy, and goals to stakeholders and team members in a clear and crisp manner.
* Represent the team in various forums, such as:
+ Portfolio Council, pitching projects to be prioritized into the quarterly planning
+ Product Owner Forum, deciding what projects to start and when together with the other Product Owners
+ Weekly Pulse Meeting, describing progress and mitigating any obstacles for the initiatives where you are the owner
Requirements:
* Proven experience (several years) working as a Product Owner or similar role in a high paced technically focused environment, preferably related to operations, and have methods in place to work in a systematic and orderly way.
* Strong understanding of backend systems such as Linux operating system, databases, and technical architecture.
* Sincere interest in, and able to acquire, a deep technical understanding of large complex systems with many dependencies combined with excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical problems in an understandable way no matter the audience, such as other Product Owners, developers, higher management or 3rd party suppliers.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira) to manage product development processes.
* A true team player who supports others by sharing information and help to build team spirit.
* You will be responsible for the team's part of the yearly EN Certification process. Hence, familiarity with security and compliance standards is a plus.

* Our bright and open office space is easily accessible just a five-minute walk from the Central Station in Malmö. This will be your base, but we also offer some remote work when suitable.
